Owner’s Story

Greg & Sarah DeVore are the owners of GSD Professional Cleaning Services. Their family’s motto for accomplishing goals and being productive is ‘GET STUFF DONE!' This was the inspiration for the name of the business, because they knew by getting stuff done their company’s clients would be focused on what matters, their business!

Greg is a transplant from central PA where he worked for a commercial cleaning company for five years. He worked his way from a routine cleaner to a regional manager of over 40 properties and 20 employees. This provided him with the knowledge of not just the managerial aspects of the cleaning business, but how to properly clean and sanitize facilities. After relocating to Richmond, their family decided that with Greg’s experience and their work ethic they would begin supporting local businesses by providing quality cleaning at affordable prices!

Sarah is a Virginia Beach native who has a heart for adventure. She has traveled throughout the United States as a traveling Occupational Therapist. After her time in traveling, she felt called to move back to Virginia Beach and begin working in an outpatient pediatric setting where she provided therapy for children with disabilities. It was during her time back in VA beach when she met Greg as he was attending Regent University. They spent one year dating, exploring, and pursuing God’s calling for their lives which led them to tying the knot exactly one year after they met!

Greg and Sarah are happily married and recently welcomed their baby boy, Benjamin, into the world in July of 2020. It was during their first year of marriage (2020) that they both decided to move to Richmond and start GSD Professional Cleaning Services. They felt that during such a trying time with the COVID-19 pandemic sweeping the nation, affordable cleaning and disinfecting would be a practical way of supporting the community! GSD Professional Cleaning looks forward to working with local businesses to do all that we can to help them succeed!
